In his 34 years of professional career, Mr. Iqbal Yousuf has served in versatile positions and roles. His key area has been professional, vocational IT training & Development. After his graduation from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro; he started his career there as Lecturer in Electrical Engineering Department. During his tenure at MUET, he was involved in teaching, research & development and played part in departmental management.  

Mr. Iqbal Yousuf did his master’s in software engineering from the University of Huddersfield U.K in 2001 and M.S. in Computer Science from SZABIST in 2003. His experience covers design and development of training programs, Vocational Training & development, implementation of Core Banking ERP, Business Management and Education Management. 

His key success areas are the establishment of a Training Academy named NDC Training Academy, which was established to cater to training needs in banking solutions on world’s top class core banking solution application, Temenos T24. he took the profile of the company from Pakistan to Middle East and Africa. And it received great success globally. And the professional trainers from Pakistan were very well recognized across the world. Then he joined NDCTEch; a global Tech company and the implementation and Sales partner of a global firm “Temenos” in MEAF region (now part of Systems Ltd) as COO- Chief Operating Officer; and led the implementation of Core Banking Solution Temenos T24 in Meezan Bank Limited and NIB Nak Limited Pakistan. NDCTech was awarded for the best implementation services globally in 2009.   

While working for Core Banking Implementation and Training, he had been working for “Aptech Computer Education” and I.T. Vocational Training and education franchise system with 36 branches and an alumnus of nearly 100 Thousand across Pakistan. Beside the experience in training & development, Keeping in mind the need of IT vocational education in Pakistan, he decided to focus on this area and spread quality vocation education and training in IT, across the country. In pursuance of his moto of “taking the IT education to doorstep of every town of Pakistan”; He established Franchise Support Office of Aptech Pakistan and assumed the position of Country Head and CEO of Aptech Pakistan. He established a strong and model of “Franchise Support System” with team of experts and best management practices and for that he received the recognition from BID Convention Paris and received the Award for Quality Services. Which was indeed a proud moment for Pakistan as Aptech was first ever organization to receive the award. And with all the efforts we were able to expand Aptech initially in Karachi and then across Sindh and Punjab and lately in KPK. The efforts for promoting IT Vocational education were recognized by many forums and institutions like; Brands Foundation, Professional Network, and as well from International Bureau of “Who is Who” Professional and he was awarded with the recognition in amongst “first 50 Pakistanis” who received “Who is Who” Professional award from honorable Governor of Sindh. His services in IT education also received recognition by the honorable Governor of Punjab and was awarded with Best Achievement Award in 2013. 

Recently in 2023, he received recognition award from the platform of MIP by the honorable President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi.  

Recently, Mr. Iqbal Yousuf was recognized by CEO Club of Pakistan and was nominated in Top 100 Best Performing CEO’s of Pakistan for 2023. Beside this he was also recognized by CXO Global Forum for excellence in entrepreneurship.   

To payback to society, Aptech launched a CSR program called Aptech Ambassador program; as many as 1000 of working people, who were not very well versed with the computer usage were trained by Aptech Ambassadors free of cost at their workplaces.
